Hey Homiezzzzzz!! My first Blog Entry of a new adventure. Wowza. I typically write formally, grammar and spelling are very important to me, but I'm going to keep this as conversational as possible.
Just to lay it all down, I was offered a Cruise Contract aboard Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas. Its this big-ass ship over here. Comes with an ice skating rink, a 1,400 seat Theater, Casino, and other full-city amenities. Including a full-length Musical, Mamma Mia!
Yes, FULL-LENGTH. I remember being on board for my first and only Cruise (Disney through Alaska) and wanting to give a solid hour of my time to whatever the Ship had planned. But these guests are here for the 2 1/2 hour musical baby!
I'll be in the ensemble and understudying the three Dad roles. If you've caught the movie with Meryl Streep (and I use 'caught' because it is highly contagious) it's these guys.
A Leading Man, an Outback Jeep Wrangler type, and a clean-cut Brit turned homosexual. I am soooo stoked to flex my Acting chops! I've understudied roles twice before, but never this many at once. Bring on the challenge baby... and call me, "Daddy."
